Day 1
Arrive at José Martí International Airport in Havana
  • Welcome at the airport. Transfer to your accommodation.
  • Check in at the casa particular La Siguaraya.
  • Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2
HAVANA
  • After breakfast, hop on a coco-taxi to go from Downtown Havana to Old Havana. Stroll through the streets and alleys taking in icons, such as the Arms Square, El Templete, the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, the Cathedral Square and the Old Square. To not miss is a stop at the emblematic Bodeguita del Medio, watering hole of American writer Ernest Hemingway.
  • After lunch, enjoy a ride in a 1950s American classic car through the Morro Castle, the famous Malecón, all the way to the neighbourhood of Vedado. Then, after a safety briefing, pick up your e-bike at the office of Caribbean Tours for a tour of modern Havana.
  • Your first stop will be the Revolution Square, where the greatest demonstrations in Cuba have taken place, and admire the imposing José Martí sculpture and “Che” Guevara’s gigantic headshot silhouette wrought in bronze. Continue along the legendary Christopher Columbus Cemetery, cross the bridge over the Almendares River and meander through the residential neighbourhood of Miramar to appreciate the magnificent mansions of the old bourgeois families.
  • Later, transfer to your casa particular to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the energy of the city.

Day 3
Havana – San Juan y Martínez - Viñales
  • Depart for Pinar del Río, the greenest of all Cuban provinces, blessed with the best soil for tobacco in the world and spectacular limestone formations called mogotes. Visit the tobacco farm of “Hombre Habano” Héctor Luis. Appreciate the entire process, from the cultivation of the crop to the treatment of the leaves, to the rolling of the cigars.
  • Enjoy a typical Cuban lunch and, after coffee, you will have the opportunity to light one of the exquisite puros made in-house.
  • Later, continue on your e-bike across the city of Pinar del Río, onto the mountainous road leading to the stunning Viñales Valley. The valley and its iconic mogotes, home to a rich biota, will welcome you to the town, which lies just a few kilometres ahead, where you casa particular

  • Time at leisure to explore the gorgeous countryside town and meet its good-natured people, who will make you feel as if you have always lived there.

Day 4
Viñales - Fierro - Las Terrazas
  • Proceed to the National Park La Guira, passing by Los Portales Cave, headquarters of Argentinian guerrilla fighter Ernesto “Che” Guevara during the Missile Crisis. Amidst the natural environment, enjoy some refreshments. At the National Park, admire the various stone sculptures in harmony with the green natural setting. Back on your e-bike, hit the road down to the highway, through paths untouched by anyone other than locals.
  • Get on the bus to continue to Las Terrazas Ecological Reserve. Check in at Moka Hotel, an eco-friendly property at the heart of a community. The surrounding rainforest hills are ideal to relax and leisurely stroll around.
  • Time at leisure to enjoy a slice of local life in a unique atmosphere, one that is all about harmony and integration.

Day 5
Las Terrazas – Havana

Transfer to the José Martí International Airport in Havana.
