Quintessentially Cuban: Sagua la Grande
More often than not, inconspicuous places treasure truly precious things. Not only is Sagua la Grande the birthplace of renowned personalities; from the great Wifredo Lam -whose work is part of MoMA’s permanent collection- to former US senator Mel Martínez. This small countryside city encapsulates the very essence of what the real Cuba is: fascinating history, vibrant culture and amazing people. In a journey into the spirit of this hidden gem, it seems only fitting to choose a suitably immersive companion: an e-bike.
